Equestrian Táltoș – General Terms of Use

Equestrian Táltoș provides the following services: • Individual and group riding lessons (Monday – Friday) • Trail riding (Saturdays) • Summer riding camps for children • Beginner-friendly instruction The booking system (login.taltos.ro) allows online scheduling, membership/pass purchase, and rider profile management.
3.1. Bookings: Reservations can be made through login.taltos.ro or in person on site. 3.2. Payment: Payment is made exclusively on-site, in cash. Online payment is not currently available. 3.3. Riding passes: Riding passes (10+1 sessions) have a limited validity period. Remaining sessions on a pass are non-refundable. 3.4. Cancellation: A booking may be cancelled without penalty at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are counted as a used session and a penalty of 40 RON applies. 3.5. Repeated no-shows: Three unjustified absences will result in temporary suspension of the booking account.
4.1. Riders under 18 years of age require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. 4.2. By creating a child profile and accepting these terms, the parent/legal guardian confirms consent for the child's participation in riding lessons and acknowledges the risks associated with horse riding. 4.3. Minor riders may only participate in lessons under instructor supervision.
5.1. Horse riding inherently involves certain risks. By accepting a booking, the rider and/or their legal representative acknowledges and accepts the risks associated with horse riding. 5.2. All riders must follow instructor instructions and the riding centre's safety rules at all times. 5.3. The following are strictly prohibited on the premises: riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs, approaching horses without instructor permission, bringing sharp objects or noise-making devices. 5.4. The riding centre accepts no liability for accidents caused by failure to comply with safety rules.
6.1. By accepting a booking, the rider declares that their health condition is suitable for horse riding and that they have no medical condition that would contraindicate riding. 6.2. Weight limit: For the safety and welfare of the horses, the maximum permitted rider weight is 100 kg. 6.3. Riding is not recommended for pregnant women or persons with severe musculoskeletal conditions.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. In the event of a dispute, the competent court is the Sălaj District Court.
